Restoration Work Performed
on 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge
1970 Pontiac GTO Judge
4-speed, A/C, electric windows, power steering, Cardinal Red, Black vinyl
top.
Complete frame off
restoration with frame sandblasted, veri-primed, rustoleum epoxy paint
(2 coats).
Suspension:
(Front): All new A-arm bushings, tie rods and ball joints had just been
installed., also new sway arm bushings and hardware.
(Rear): All new rubber bushings installed in rear axle control arms. Rear
end checked.
Brakes:
All brake lines replaced, steel and rubber. New wheel cylinders installed.
New front and rear shoes. Drums cleaned, no wear indicated. New master
cylinder.
Body:
Right rear qtr. replaced, left hand qtr. had small patch. Right outer
wheel house replaced. Left outer wheel house had small patch. Primed wheel
houses and undercoated. Deck lid had small dings repaired, no rust. Top
had small dings repaired and Cordova Top installed. Driver's door replaced
with rust free replacement. Floor pans were in good, rust free condition.
Rockers good and rust free. Trunk had one third of passenger side replaced,
due to accident, all rust free. Driver's side fender had patch put in
lower rear, small dings fixed. Passenger front fender was new reproduction.
Hood is new reproduction. Front bumper was reconditioned, no major repair.
Rear bumper was re-chromed. Front valance was original, dings fixed, no
rust. Rear valance was original, dings fixed, no rust. Rear window area
and trunk filler panel had small rust hole in each corner, welded shut.
Front windshield area OK. Cowl, lower corners had small rust hole, patched
and sealed. Overall body was in very good condition.
Fuel System:
New tank installed, new gas lines and new vapor return line.
Engine:
WS non original, but correct, Number 12 heads. RA3 exhaust manifold and
intake. Complete rebuild, including new valves and all new valve train
parts. Block was bored .30 over with 2 cylinders getting sleeved. Crank
was turned .10 and polished. New pistons, rods re-sized, all new bearings,
seals and gaskets. New oil pump, shaft, water pump and rebuild distributor.
Carburetor is a Carter Thermal Quad, after market replacement for an RA3
motor (only thing not factory OEM, bought from Carb King in Missouri).
New valve covers, new replacement RAM AIR pans and related parts. All
engine rebuild info recorded and have available. New radiator, super duty
fan clutch, new shroud. New fire wall forward engine harness. Light harness
was good, A/C: new compressor, receiver dryer, new lines, flushed and
recharged with Freeze 12.
Transmission:
Good, solid transmission, replaced rear seal. Cleaned case inside and
replaced grease. New clutch, turned fly wheel, new throw-out bearing,
new clutch fork book. New clutch rod boot on firewall.
Exhaust:
All new OEM 2 ¼ inch replacement exhaust system. Repaired OEM hangars.
Rechromed OEM exhaust splitters.
Interior:
New carpet, front and rear seat covers and headrest covers. New rear package
tray, new jute and cover for rear seat to trunk panel. New qtr. panels,
door panels, new headliner, new rear view mirror, new front windshield.
Dash is good, console is good. 4-speed Hurst shifter cleaned and new boot.
New console lid. Front and back seat belts are installed, all OEM. All
weather stripping replaced, all window felts, seals, "you-name-it"
replaced. After market gauge package installed.
Paint:
Cardinal Red base coat, clear. Three coats paint and three coats clear,
buffed and polished.

Misc.:
New tail light lenses, light bulbs and seals. New 225/60 R14 Cooper GT's
on front, 265-50R15 Cooper GT's on rear. All Rally II rims sandblasted,
painted with new center caps and lug nuts. All electric windows have been
serviced.
Have all invoices.
