This is an Atoll Blue, 4 speed, Black interior car that has had a frame off, rotisserie restoration. It retains the original body and frame. It is a correct car, but not a numbers matching car. It is PHS documented with a partial build sheet. It is a beautiful car that won best in its class at the invitational Tri City street rod annual car show this last weekend. Only the best cars in the area are chosen to participate. There were cars from 4 different states represented. Here are the details of the restore.

Engine: WW service replacement block casting #: 9799915A Date code: A053 Rotating assembly from Jeff Kauffman Racing, upgrade to steel rods and roller rockers.

Heads: 614X SR heads date code:0173 All new valve train

Carburetor: Quadra jet SR #: 7028276 Date code 2235 and restored by C. Rueggles

Reproduction intake #9799084 and reproduction of exhaust manifolds.

Distributor from DCI motors recurved and set up for IV motor.

Have all rebuild engine specs and receipts to verify engine rebuild.

Correct date code plug wires, reproduction of R 59 energizer battery, spring clip battery cables, correct looms, GM hoses, GM belts, clamps, correct flex fan, new shroud, etc.

Recored original radiator and original tag

Reproduction ram air IV air pan components

New firewall forward engine harness, reconditioned all other original harnesses.

New alternator, regulator, starter, fuel pump, water pump, etc,

Gardiner exhaust system, including clamps, brackets, mufflers, chrome splitters, and all hardware.

Transmission: Close ratio M-21 correct date code#: 0M04B casting # 3925660 Rebuilt with all new syncros, bearings, and seals. Shifts easy and smooth! Shifter, handle and rods all correct. New clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing,

Rear Axle: XK code, date code 336, Casting # 9799202, all new Richmond ring gear and pinion 3:90 ratio, all new bearings and seals.

Brakes: All new brake system, including lines, recondition Delco Moraine booster and new seal cup kit in original master cylinder, new hoses, clips, drums, rotors, wheel bearings, seals, rebuilt original calipers, all new hardware inside drums, all new e-brake kit.

Fuel system is all new, including tank, sender, lines, hoses, tank to body insulator pad, clips, etc.

Wheels: Original rally II with correct date code JL 7-7, black center caps with Firestone Wide Oval G-70-14 Pollyglass tires.

Reconditioned all original wheel house moldings

Front and rear suspension rebuilt, including all a-arm bushings, ball joints, shocks, sway bar bushings and components, all rear control arm bushings, new long control arms, etc.

Body: Replaced both rear Qtrs and outer wheel houses, replaced outer floor pieces in trunk, replaced complete inside floor and bracing, repaired lower corners fenders, fixed some spots on the cowl area, used original deck lid, original spoiler, original hood, original front bumper, doors, serviced all door latches and window regulators, used original front and rear valences, replaced core support, good inner fenders, rechromed rear bumper, reconditioned door edge guards, all new soft ray glass, NOS GM outside rear view mirror, used original rear taillight lenses, installed all T-3 headlights and chrome moldings, new valence moldings and air dam, new park light assemblies, new drip rail moldings and reconditioned front and rear window moldings. Phoenix graphics provided all stripping and decals.

Interior: New seat coverings and carpet, reconditioned all plastic trim, new headliner, new restored dash, knobs, nice original seat belts,

Painted with Dupont Chroma Premier line, base/clear. Had a lot of good complements on the paint at the show!

Basically this is it. There are a lot more little things that go into a restoration that is never said!! We have over 1500 hrs into this project. My son and I restored this car exactly back to the PHS. We did not alter or change it from the PHS. We are going to sell it, as we have more projects to do. If you’re truly interested in buying this car, be prepared to come and see it, as I will not sell this car to anyone who will not personally come and meet us and inspect the car.
